Life on Osage Avenue
Neighbors of the MOVE organization complained to city officials about their broadcasting of their message late into the night, their animals, and garbage. They also complained of their weapons and fortification of the home.
Gerald Renfrow, Osage Ave. Resident, says, "It was very stressful [to have MOVE as neighbors] because there was nothing we could do. We were forced to deal with their confrontation mode. You know, we were trapped. So, you know, that's why we asked the city for some sort of resolution so that we could get on with our lives."
